A Labette Health Ambulance Service worker sprays a house fire for a moment before feeding the hose to a Parsons firefighter at a vacant home at 816 S. 24th on Tuesday. Firefighters were called at 11:11 a.m. to the fire. The house was engulfed in flames when they arrived. The fire was under control at 11:51 a.m. The house owned by LaToya Fields of Moorhead, Miss., was estimated to be a total loss, firefighters said. The cause of the fire is under investigation by Parsons fire and police departments.
