Health career students from PHS and PSHTC workers volunteer to work the annual fundraiser for Operation Santa, which provides Christmas presents to PSHTC residents. The fundraiser made more than $900 this year.

Parsons High School senior James Jackson (center) signed his letter of intent to play football at Fort Scott Community College next season on Wedneday. Jackson is joined by PHS football coach David Pitts and his mother Keisha Johnson. Jackson is the fifth PHS senior to sign a letter of intent to play football next season.

The event was a fundraiser for Jessica Arnold, 17, who will travel to Europe with People to People. Her mother, Linda Arnold, works at Grandview. Eddie Hammer, supervisor on the paint line, took the next face shot from Scott Patterson, who works on the paint line. The fundraiser brought in $329.
