Despite a spring snow and temperatures dropping below freezing at the beginning of spring, high temperatures at the end of the week and over the weekend led to trees beginning to leaf out, blossoms covering bushes and trees and spring flowers showing bright colors such as these daffodils on lawns and fields around town.

Both companies are in Kansas City, Mo.

The two live in a two man-tent and travel from town to town on horseback, with two pack horses in tow, stopping in towns to pick up work when needed to buy more supplies. Art had become ill and they needed a few extra days for him to recover before heading south. People at PSHTC helped get Art to a veterinarian and assisted the two in many other ways the last several days. See story in Local News.
