Art Lamely and Sue Hemming spend time with Lamely’s horse Big John during a respite at the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center stables. The two live in a two man-tent and travel from town to town on horseback, with two pack horses in tow, stopping in towns to pick up work when needed to buy more supplies. Art had become ill and they needed a few extra days for him to recover before heading south. People at PSHTC helped get Art to a veterinarian and assisted the two in many other ways the last several days. See story in Local News.
