The LCHS Lady Grizzlies enter this year's state softball tourney as the No. 1 seed with their 23-0 record. They'll take on Mulvane at 5 p.m. on Friday in Salina.

The class raised more than $20,000 for playground and gym equipment for all of the elementary schools in Labette County. Class members also volunteered their labor in clearing the brush from a walking trail in Oswego.
