Couple celebrate 50th
Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Walters celebrated their 50th anniversary on March 20 and had a reception May 9 at the Arvon Phillips Community Center. Lowell Wells and Cathy Lamb were married on March 20, 1959, at First Christian Church in Parsons. Mr. Walters printed newspapers, and Mrs. Walters began cutting hair. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Fultz of rural Parsons will observe their 40th wedding anniversary this weekend. Dale Fultz and Joyce Stuart were married March 15, 1969, at First Baptist Church in Altamont by the Rev. Raymond Ditlevson. Mr. Fultz served two years in the Army, where he was stationed for a year at Fort Lee, Va., and another year at Heidelburg, Germany, before returning to rural Parsons. Mr. Fultz is a farmer.
