LCHS tennis fares well at tourneys
The Labette County High School girls tennis team took third place at Fort Scott on Tuesday. Patricia Stevenson took third in number-two singles, Caitlin Closs and Jackie Wertz placed third at number-one doubles, and Candance Carr and Haley Page were third in number-two doubles. FORT SCOTT — The Parsons High School volleyball team start off league play on a high note. The Vikings swept a pair of matches on Thursday night at Fort Scott. The Vikings defeated Coffeyville 25-10, 25-10 and then got past the host Tigers 26-24, 25-19. The Vikings rallied to beat Fort Scott.
