GALENA — The Chargers' season ended Monday evening with a 69-65 double-overtime loss to Galena. Thatcher Murdock of Parsons High School finished the Class 4A state wrestling tourney at 1-2 over the weekend. Murdock, a 132-pound senior, advanced to the second day by opening with a 5-3 win over Slade Sare of Abilene. Murdock lost his second match to Kyle Macy of El Dorado by 4-0 decision Friday and lost his opening-round match Saturday with Jacob Durosette of Fort Scott 3-2.
