Chanute, Pittsburg share honors at SEK track meet
Iola hosted the 2012 Southeast Kansas League track and field meet Thursday. Pittsburg won the girl's title with a 145 total in points while Chanute was second with 106 points. The Labette Community College baseball team opened the 2012 NJCAA Region VI Super Regional with a 12-2 loss to Garden City Saturday. Labette then lost a 7-6 matchup with Barton in 11 innings to fall out of sub-regional play.
