BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Wilbur David Sailsbury, 64, of Broken Arrow, Okla., died Sunday, April 17, 2011.
He was born July 24, 1946, in Parsons to Wilbur H. and Georgia (Burrows) Sailsbury. He graduated from Butler High School in 1965, Labette Community Junior College in 1967 and attended Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science. He served 10 years in the Army National Guard Reserves.
Mr. Sailsbury worked at Ramsey Winch until retiring in 2009.
He married Linda Andrews on Nov. 29, 1968. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Brad Sailsbury; a daughter, Shannan Ragsdale; three grandchildren; two brothers, Tim and Lee; and three sisters, Wilmetta Alderman, Diane Pattinson and Debbie Burke.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Ruth Louise.
The service was Wednesday at Arrow Heights Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Okla.
The family suggests memorials to Arrow Heights Baptist Church. All donations will be given to the men’s prayer group to further the mission work they do in the community, something Mr. Sailsbury was passionate about.
Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Okla., was in charge of arrangements.
