BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — Ruth Evelyn Rexwinkle, 79, of Bartlesville, Okla., formerly of Bartlett, died Monday, April 25, 2011, in Bartlesville.
She was born on May 1, 1931, in Hobart, Okla., to C.D. and Madge (Allen) Turner. She attended school in Wichita, where she received her high school education.
She married Clifford “Bud” Rexwinkle on June 28, 1951, in Wichita. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2001.
Survivors include her sons, Melvin of Coffeyville, David of South Coffeyville, Okla., Charles “Butch” of Afton, Okla.; a daughter, Carol Ann Davis of South Coffeyville, Okla.; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.D. and Madge; and a son, Darrel Glen.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel Chapel in South Coffeyville, Okla. Burial will follow in North Edna Cemetery in Edna.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The family suggests memorials to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
