WALNUT — Pearl M. Modica, 83, of Walnut died at 10:20 p.m. Sunday in the emergency room at Labette Health. She is survived by her husband, Jack Modica, of the home.

The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Walnut. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Walnut. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. The family will receive friends immediately following the rosary in parish hall.

Memorials are suggested to the Ruritan Club in Walnut or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, 67357.
