He was born April 25, 1922, in Culver. He formerly lived in Parsons for a long time before moving to Wichita in 1964. He served in the military in World War II and was a decorated veteran.
Mr. Myers owned and operated Myers Plumbing, from which he retired in 1984.
He was a member of the Winfield and Haysville Antique Engine Club.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Ramona C. Myers; two sons, Larry F. Myers of Parsons and Len (Jan) Myers of Andover; a daughter, Carla Busby of Cedaredge, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Gaylord (Kit) Smith of Leawood and Foster (Janet) Smith of Wichita; and a brother, George F. Myers of Parsons.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.
