Carolyn J. Cartright, 55, of Parsons died at 10:10 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Labette Health. She had been in failing health.

She was born July 20, 1955, in Independence to John Dale and Beverly (Seymore) Muller. She attended McKinley Elementary School in Parsons.

She worked at various jobs over the years, including local motels.

She married Larry E. Yunker. They later divorced. In 1972, she married William “Bill” Cartright in Miami, Okla. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include her mother, Beverly Morrison of Coffeyville; two daughters, Tammy Thomas and Patricia Millard, both of Parsons; eight grandchildren; a brother, Jimmy Muller of California; and a sister, Janice Morris of Texas.

Following cremation, the service time will be announced by Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
