WELCH, Okla. — Virginia E. Crumrine, 92, of Welch, Okla., died at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at her home following a lengthy illness. 

She was born on Dec. 21, 1918, in Arcadia to William and Elizabeth (McFadden) Cox. She graduated from high school in Tulsa. 

She married Everett Joseph Crumrine on Nov. 3, 1939, in Nowata, Okla. He preceded her in death on April 12, 2005.

Survivors include a son, Thomas J. Crumrine of Chetopa; a daughter, Linda L. Crumrine of Miami, Okla.; a granddaughter; three great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant brother.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Community Bible Church in Chetopa. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery in Centralia, Okla.  The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. Tuesday until service time at the church. Friends may call at Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa from 9 a.m. until noon on Tuesday.
