Jurie Lindley, 60, of Southampton, Mass., died Monday, May 30, 2011, after battling pancreatic cancer for 2 and 1/2 years.

She was born April 11, 1951, in Parsons the only child of Leon and Helen (Taylor) Woolery. She graduated from Parsons High School (1969), attended Labette County Community College and Kansas State University, and graduated from the University of Louisville (1973) with a bachelor of science in home economics.

She married David M. Lindley in 1971. She operated a small cottage craft business and did other jobs.

Survivors include her husband of the home; a daughter, Jana Mickey; a son, Todd Lindley; and a grandson.

The service was Monday at Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church. Burial was at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. The Amos Family, 10901 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, was in charge of arrangements.
