FORT SCOTT — Ina Mae Guilfoyle, 81, of Fort Scott died Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at her home.

She was born on Aug. 13, 1929, in Olpe to Floyd Thomas and Lucy Irena (Potter) Crumpacker.

She married John Kenneth Guilfoyle on Sept. 4, 1950, at Fulton. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1985.

Mrs. Guilfoyle was a member of Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. She volunteered for many church duties and was a member of St. Anne’s Alter Society.

She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as gardening. She also enjoyed watching Major League Baseball and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves.

Survivors include her children, Sandra Gorman and her husband, Bill, of Parsons, Debra Streeter and her husband, David, of Carl Junction, Mo., Janet Guilfoyle of Fort Scott and Martin Guilfoyle and his wife, Lori, of Fort Scott; eight grandchildren, Trenton Gorman, Krista Farris, Devin Gorman, Angela Suarez, Nicholas Streeter, Wesley Streeter, Christin Guilfoyle and Anna Guilfoyle; and nine great-grandchildren, Grady, Brycen, Jay, Lucas, Johnny, Isaac, Paul, Mary and Addilyn.

She was preceded in death by her husband as well as her parents.

Father Darrin May will conduct the funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Fulton. The rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Friday at Cheney Witt Chapel. Visitation will follow the rosary from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m.
