She was born on Feb. 27, 1926, in Neodesha the third of five daughters of Richard R. and Lida M. (Roller) Gentry.
Before moving to St. Paul, Myrtle had been living with her sister, Dollie (Gentry) Magner in Topeka.
Myrtle enjoyed reading, doing arts and crafts and most of all, watching her favorite baseball team, the Chicago Cubs.
Survivors include two sisters, Dollie (Gentry) Magner of Topeka and Tillie (Gentry) Cruse of St. Paul; 12 nieces and nephews; 18 great-nieces and nephews; and nine great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Frank Marrs; her parents; two sisters, Thelma (Gentry) Earley and Lavinna (Gentry) Stallsmith; and several nephews.
The body has been cremated, and there are no memorial services planned. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, Topeka, is in charge of arrangements.
