He was born on April 22, 1939, in Parsons to James Lee and Letah (Hight) Willeford.
He was a member of Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Constance Irwin Willeford; a son, Steven Michael Willeford and his wife, Lori, of Dunkirk, N.Y.; a daughter, Kimberly Lynn McMahon, and her husband, John, of Mayville, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Jennifer Nichole McMahon and Jason William McMahon, both of Mayville, N.Y.; two sisters, Judith Nibarger and Deborah Willeford, both of Parsons; and a niece, Tracy Wertz, and her husband, Monty, great-nephew, Jacob Wertz, and great-niece, Jacqeline Wertz, all of Altamont. He also leaves behind his little buddy dachshund, Max.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, several aunts and uncles and his three beautiful collies, Sandy, Honey and Bandit.
The service will be at a later date at Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church Christian Life Center, Johnson City, Tenn., with the Rev. Brian Taylor and the Rev. David Lovelace officiating. Music will be provided by the Journey Praise Team. The family will receive friends after the service. Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Jonesborough, is in charge of arrangements.
