THE COLONY, Texas — Anthony Ray Williams, 68, of The Colony, Texas, died at 4:36 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011.

He was born on Nov. 29, 1942, in Coffeyville to Raymond Williams and Erma (Monroe) Williams.

Anthony was a musician and performed in Kansas.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Williams of The Colony, Texas; four daughters, Donna Durrant and her husband, Jon, of Douglasville, Ga., Renee Morgan and her husband, Tony, of Villa Rica, Ga., Lakeisha Bass and Sheleithia Bass; two sons, Raymond Williams of Douglasville, Ga., and Joseph Modica IV of The Colony, Texas; numerous grandchildren; a goddaughter, Sally Catherine Long of Dallas; and other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Erma Williams.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas. Burial will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
