GARDNER — Donna Jean Nibarger, 69, of Gardner died Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at her home.

She was born Sept. 17, 1941, in Erie to Ernest and Bertha Opal (Whitson) Triplett. She grew up in Parsons.

She married Dannie L. Nibarger on May 29, 1959, in Parsons. She was a retired housekeeper for Johnson County nursing homes.

Survivors include her husband, Dannie, of the home; a daughter, Beverly Ann Nothnagel of Gardner; a son, Jerry L. Nibarger of Gardner; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Leona Russell of Parsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bruce Funeral Home in Gardner. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to Olathe Hospice House Building Fund.
