DERBY — Margarett L. Stroup, 94, of Derby, a former Erie resident, died at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at the Derby Rehabilitation Center in Derby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis “Brownie” Stroup, on Jan. 1, 2003.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in Erie. Burial will be in East Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday at the Pierce-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Erie.
Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church in Erie and these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home at 303 N. Grant St., P.O. Box 182, Erie, 66733.
