TULSA — Lewis Lee Graves, 89, of Tulsa died on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011.

He was born in Parsons March 14, 1922. He graduated from the Spartan School of Aeronautics in 1947 and worked at American Airlines for nearly 36 years as a mechanic and later a foreman before retiring.

DuringWorld War II he served in the Navy.

He married Joan Perkins on Jan. 18, 1947. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, Walt and Charles, both of Tulsa, and Rodney of Sand Springs, Okla.; a daughter, Cherlene of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; and five great-granchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.

The service was at 2 p.m. Monday at Moore’s Southlawn Chapel, Tulsa. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
