MOUND VALLEY — Kathleen M. “Kathy” Mura, 69, of Mound Valley died at 7:10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at Elmhaven East in Parsons.

She was born June 7, 1942, in St. Louis, Mo., to Francis John and Dorothy (DuBray) Kelly. As a young girl, she attended schools in St. Louis.

She worked as a proofreader at City Publishing in Independence until retiring.

She married Charles Hill Sr. They later divorced. On June 22, 1973, she married Robert “Bob” Mura in Miami, Okla. He preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 1993.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Hill of Indiana and Charles Hill Jr. of Florida.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today at Mound Valley Cemetery.
