She was born on Aug. 19, 1919, in Cherokee County to Elwood and Ella (James) Johnston. She was a lifetime area resident and a 1937 graduate of Cherokee County Community High School in Columbus.
For 45 years, she worked as an Avon representative and had received numerous awards through the years from Avon for her efforts.
She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Chetopa.
She married Jesse Henson. He preceded her in death.
On Nov. 24, 1955, she married Adrian Leroy Holley in Hockerville, Okla. He preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1992.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Henson of Commerce, Okla., and Gary Wayne Henson of Narcissa, Okla.; a daughter, Debbie Nading, of Galena; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Correll; a daughter, Judy Tullis; and a granddaughter, Michelle Brady.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturda at First Baptist Church in Chetopa. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Chetopa. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time, Saturday at the church.
