She was born in Coffeyville to George A. Hill and Jennie (Martin) Hill. She grew up in the southwest Labette County area and graduated from Labette County High School.
She married Forrest Stine on May 10, 1942, in Joplin. They made their home in Edna. She and her husband owned and operated Stine Feeders Supply for more than 40 years. Mr. Stine preceded her in death on Aug. 31, 2004.
Later she was the city clerk in Edna for several years.
Mrs. Stine was a member of the Edna United Methodist Church, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was on the Edna Library board.
Survivors include a son, Mike Stine of Edna; two daughters, Jan Rhodes and her husband, Ron, of Edna and Kay Morse and her husband, John, of Sanibel, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Kristi Lord and her husband, Raymond, Kerri Henderson and her husband, Gregg, Chad Stine and his wife, Audrey, Keli Rhodes, Jenni Morse, David Morse and Jacob Stine; five great-grandchildren, Michael Schultz, Dakota Owen, Megan Henderson, Cole Henderson and Riley Stine; and a great-great-granddaughter, Madison Owen.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, George A. Hill; and a sister, Nadine Winters.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Edna. Burial will be in North Edna Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont after 1 p.m. Sunday.
