He was born on Jan. 29, 1953, to Urban Frederick and Clara Frances (Palkowitsh) Forst in Lamar, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Forst of Archie, Mo.; three daughters, Jeanette Marie Opat and her husband, Pat, of Harrisonville, Mo., Rhonda Renee Garrett and her husband, Donny, and Amanda Marie Swigart and her husband, Tim, all of Garden City, Mo.; three sons, Richard Allen Forst of Garden City, Mo., Shawn Morgan and his wife, Tousha, and Eric Morgan and his wife, Danielle, all of Adrian, Mo.; two brothers, Norbert Lee Forst and his wife, Pam, of St. Paul and Steven Forst and his wife, Linda, of Rockvale, Tenn.; two sisters, Patricia Burrows and her husband, Clyde, of Columbus and Christine Emerson and her husband, Jeff, of Owasso, Okla.; 17 grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Butler, Mo., with the Rev. John Bolderson officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, followed by a Rosary service, at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel, Butler, Mo. Burial will be in Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Mo.
