Martha Grace (Mott) Sanders, 70, of Parsons died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Labette Health in Parsons.

Martha was born on Jan. 30, 1942, at Kincaid to Arthur “Bill” and Eunice M. (Corwin) Mott Jr.

She married Clarence Sanders. They divorced.

At the time of her retirement, she worked in housekeeping at North Kansas City Hospital.

Survivors include a daughter, Arlene Dayberry of Altamont; a sister, Leona Tarwater of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by three daughters, Lahoma Sanders, Josephine Bedell and Connie Cline; a brother, John A. Mott; and two sisters, Laura Cole and Billie Lee Holden.

The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Highland Cemetery in Iola. Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola is in charge of arrangements.
