She was born on Nov. 19, 1924, at Alva, Okla., to Edward and Mable (Sailors) McCulloch. She grew up on a farm north of Erie and attended Oak Grove school and then moved to Tulsa to live with her aunt, Ruth Wells, where she attended high school. She attended Oklahoma A&M University in Stillwater for a year.
She married Vance Lucas at Manhattan, N.Y. They later divorced.
She married John Kolstad in 1956 at Oklahoma City. They later divorced.
She lived in Wichita and Houston before moving to St. Paul to reside at Prairie Mission Retirement Village. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her cousin, Don Sailors, and his wife, Shirley, of rural Erie.
Following cremation, the family will conduct a private memorial service.
