He was born on July 14, 1956, in Parsons to Harrison B. and Geneivive (Campmier) Kidd. He was a lifelong resident and graduated from Parsons High School and attended Labette Community College. He enjoyed sports, especially basketball.
He had been disabled for a number of years because of an accident.
Survivors include a caregiver, Martha Wilkerson; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Daniel Kidd, who died June 29, 2012.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Carson-Wall Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at their convenience.
Memorials are suggested to a scholarship fund at Parsons Foursquare Church.
