CLOVIS, N.M. — Karen Ruth LaBarge, 54, of Clovis, N.M., died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at the home of her mother in Glasco.

She was born on July 1, 1958, in Concordia to Daniel Edward and Marian Evelyn (Olson) Williamson. She grew up in Glasco and graduated from Glasco High School in 1976.

She married David Matthew LaBarge on Oct. 12, 2002. He survives.

She worked for golf courses, nurseries and greenhouses.

Other survivors include three daughters, Jessica Petterson of Delphos, Rachel Brannan of Bronson, Fla., and Jena Petterson of Chanute; two grandchildren; her mother, Evelyn Williamson of Glasco; seven brothers, Guy Williamson of Micanopy, Fla., John Williamson of Kersey, Colo., David Williamson of Round Rock, Texas, Ken Williamson of Glasco, Robert Williamson of Caldwell, Idaho, Kevin Williamson of Halsted and Kieth Williamson of Leesburg, Fla.; and seven sisters, Mary Williamson of Glasco, Nancy Briggs of Parsons, Barbara Holste of Manhattan, Kay Morse of Boise, Idaho, Jean Hogan of Leesburg, Fla., Joyce Hood of Concordia and Linda Schmidt of Meriden.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dan Williamson; and four brothers, James, Timothy, Joe and Mike Williamson.

There was a memorial Mass on Saturday at Sacred Heart Community Church, Clovis, N.M. There will be a second memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Nov. 23 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Glasco.
