Lentena Anderson, 93, of Parsons, died at 1:45 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Labette Health.

She was born on June 17, 1919, at Arena, N.D., to John and Bertha (Rossman) Laib. She grew up near Arena and the family move to Idaho.

She married Floyd Anderson. He preceded her in death in 1996. They lived in Dietrich, Idaho, were they farmed. They later moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, were they owned and operated a dairy farm. She later moved to Parsons to be close to her daughter and attended First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Jeanie Soares and her husband, Stan, of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Beverly Anderson and her husband, Dr. Terry Rothstein, of Parsons; five grandchildren, Teena Kinney of Pittsburg, Randall Moreland of Independence, Chantal Anderson of Ukiah, Calif., Nikki Soares of Boise, Idaho, Autem Ryan and Teala Smith, both of Kansas City, Kan.; and her beloved dog, Peaches.

Follow cremation a memorial service will be in Twin Falls, Idaho, at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the Proud Animal Lovers Shelter and these may be left at or mailed to the Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 112 N. 26th St., P.O. Box 942, Parsons, 67357.
