ARMA — Phyllis A. Bolejack, 76, of Arma died at 9:46 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Landmark Hospital in Joplin after a month stay in the hospital.

She was born Oct. 16, 1936, in Independence to Herman E. and Mildred Vista (Steele) Taylor. She graduated from Cherryvale High School in 1955.

She married Harold Eugene Bolejack on March 10, 1956, at Coffeyville. He preceded her in death on Aug. 7, 2012. Mrs. Bolejack was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter, Tonya Moss of Arma; two sons, Mark Bolejack of Grenola and Todd Bolejack of Arma; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Marlene Merchant of Parsons; and a brother, David Taylor of Dallas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two brothers, Paul and John W. Taylor.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bedene Funeral Home in Arma. Burial will be at Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
