Tina M. Wolke, 45, of Parsons died at her home Friday, Feb. 8, 2013. She had been in her usual health, and death was unexpected.

She was born on Sept. 18, 1967, in Wichita to Leonard George Wolke Sr. and Barbara Kay (Rose) Wolke.

She grew up and attended school in Wichita until moving with her family to the South Mound area at the age of 12. Tina was a 1985 graduate of St. Paul High School.

For more than 25 years, she was employed by Wal-Mart in Parsons. She was a member of Our Father’s Vineyard in Parsons. Tina enjoyed making jewelry, shopping and counted cross-stitch, and she loved animals. She adored her nephew, Hunter, and especially enjoyed caring for him.

Survivors include a brother, Leonard G. “Lenny” Wolke Jr. and his wife, Yalanda, of rural Galesburg; a nephew, Hunter Wolke; and an aunt, Pat Armitage and her husband, Gene, of Parsons.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard G. Wolke Sr., on Sept. 25, 2008; and her mother, Barbara Wolke, on Sept. 9, 2012.

Following cremation, the service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons, where the family will receive friends immediately following the service.
