BUCKEYE, Ariz. — Connie Y. Ervin, 66, of Buckeye, Ariz., formally of Independence, died Monday, April 26, 2010, at Jane Phillips Medical Center, Bartlesville, Okla.
She was born March 11, 1944, in Parsons to George and Treva (Piesker) Wilson. She attended Independence schools.
In October 1959, she married Raymond E. Ervin in Miami, Okla. They later divorced.
She worked as a city carrier for the postal service in Independence until she retired.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynn Allen of Waddell, Ariz.; a son, Randal E. Ervin of Neodesha; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Stub Wilson and Steve Wilson, both of Independence.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Potts Chapel in Independence. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Elk City. Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society and can be left at the funeral home.
