He was born on Jan. 7, 1950, in Parsons to Eleutrio and Petra Carrillo.
He was a CNA/CMA/EMT.
He married Yvonne A. Graves in Kinsley. She survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Petra Carrillo of Parsons; a daughter, Wendi Bernstorf of Haysville; three grandchildren; three brothers, Bob of Fort Scott and Mark and Pete, both of Parsons; and two sisters, Clara of Parsons and Carmen of Carlsbad, Calif.
He was preceded in death by a son, Scott.
There will be a service at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Kinsley. Friends may call from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at McKillip Funeral Home, Kinsley. There will be a vigil at 7 p.m. at St. Nicholas. There will be a memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Parsons.
