KINSLEY — Lou R. Carrillo, 60, of Kinsley died on Friday, May 7, 2010, at Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita.

He was born on Jan. 7, 1950, in Parsons to Eleutrio and Petra Carrillo.

He married Yvonne A. Graves in Kinsley. She survives.

He was a CNA/CMA/EMT.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Boy Scout leader.

Other survivors include his mother, Petra Carrillo of Parsons; a daughter, Wendi Bernstorf of Haysville; three grandchildren; three brothers, Bob of Fort Scott and Mark and Pete, both of Parsons; and two sisters, Clara of Parsons and Carmen of Carlsbad, Calif.

He was preceded in death by a son, Scott.

There was a service on Monday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Kinsley. There will be a memorial Mass at 10 a.m. today at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Jason Borkenhagen officiating. Burial will be today at Calvary Cemetery.

McKillip Funeral Home, Kinsley, is in charge of arrangements.
