He was born Aug. 3, 1928, in Kildare, Okla., to Erick and Eva Gayle (Smith) Mauk.
He married Bonnie Jean Luckie in October 1950 in Vinita, Okla. She preceded him in death on March 14, 2003.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He worked for the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Ray Mauk of Vinita, Okla.; two daughters, Jean Blundell of Chetopa and Cheryl Ann Riley of Welch, Okla.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, Louis Mauk and Calvin Mauk; and two sisters, Myrtle Fortune and Adeline Stanart.
He also was preceded in death by a great-grandchild.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Thomas Funeral Home, Welch. Interment will be at Oakhill Cemetery, Chetopa. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Thomas Funeral Home, Welch.
