MOUNT PLEASANT, Texas — William Augustus “Bill” Setters, 78, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, died Saturday, July 17, 2010, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 17, 1931, in Wichita the son of Harry and Elsie (Dousette) Setters. He was raised and attended schools in Parsons.
He served his country in the United States Navy, retiring after 25 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Viva, of Mount Pleasant, Texas; a sister, Juanita Johnston of Oswego; and a brother, Gary Lee Setters of Peru, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation services were under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
