She was born on Sept. 24, 1928, north of Erie to Joe and Martha (Cook) Lowe.
She married Ralph Stevens on July 18, 1948, at First Christian Church, Erie. They celebrated 62 years together.
Marge was a devoted mother and house wife. She was an avid K-State fan.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph; a son, Mark Stevens, and Marlene Conaway, of Topeka; two daughters, Beverly Wells, and her husband, Larry, of Merriam and Kathy Pearson of Topeka; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Riddell of Eureka, Ill., and Minnie Hodges of Topeka; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Lowe and Jim Lowe; and two sisters, Marie Smith and Lois Ogle.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, Topeka. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
