The Parsons Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred outside of Pete’s, 1430 Main, last Thursday evening. The robbery occurred at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, and left the store clerk battered and shaken.
According to the initial reports, two unknown suspects entered the store and engaged the clerk under the guise of conducting business. The department is reviewing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding areas and has increased patrols to ensure public safety. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
This continues to be an ongoing investigation, and citizens are encouraged to “see it, hear it, report it.” All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
