Trampis Robert Kellogg

Trampis Robert Kellogg, 50, lifelong Parsons resident, went to his heavenly home Thursday evening, Jan. 9, 2025, during a beautiful snowstorm on a bolt of lightning witnessed by his older brother Travis as Travis pulled up to Labette Health. The light in Trampis’ ER room flickered, leaving his mom, nephew, Troy and aunt with a feeling of peace. In her home in Chanute, his sister, Lisa, recorded her lights flickering as well as he made his presence known to her. There are signs of our loved one’s presence; you just have to look for them. Trampis had been in failing health, but his death was sudden and unexpected.

He was born Sept. 17, 1974, in Parsons to Robert and Doris Kellogg. He enjoyed fishing, camping and cooking. Trampis didn’t know a stranger and always made room in his home for anyone who didn’t have a place to stay. He had a big heart.

Survivors include his mother, Doris Kellogg; two daughters, Danielle and Pyper; four brothers, Robert Kellogg Jr., Travis Kellogg, Troy Kellogg, William O’Neal; a sister, Lisa Kellogg; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He had a special bond and friendship with his uncle Eddie Thompson, and they spent many hours together.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Kellogg; his sister, Lorene Kellogg; grandparents, Harold and Maxine Kellogg, Dora and Willis Thompson; and many cherished aunts and uncles.

Trampis will be forever loved and dearly missed by his family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Derfelt Funeral Home to help with cremation expenses, 203 Illinois St., Oswego, KS, 67356.

A celebration of life that Trampis would have enjoyed will take place in the spring when the weather is warm.
