Donald Edward Maxwell, 84, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025, in Olathe.
He was born Nov. 17, 1942, to Glen and Dorthea Maxwell in Altamont.
He retired from Southwestern Bell after 33 years of dedication and service.
Don was faithful to his church and community practicing regular services at Queen of the Holy Rosary in Overland Park. He will be remembered for his faith, loyalty and dedication to the ones he loved.
He will be remembered by his wife of 34 years, Ileene Maxwell; daughter, Cathie (Tom) Wiley; and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Dorthea Maxwell; his brothers, Bill, Doug and Larry Maxwell; and his granddaughter, Gabrielle.
The service will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Queen of the Holy Rosary, 7023 W. 71st St., Overland Park.
