PITTSBURG — The USD 504 archers traveled to Pittsburg for on Saturday, the second meet of the season. The grade school and middle school bullseye archers finished second, as did the 3D team.
The top three teams secured trophies for their efforts. Oswego brought home three. The 3D team finished with 1,572 points; the elementary school with 2,583 points; the middle school with 3,154 points.
The top three shooters in each division medaled. Oswego medalists were: Axel Santana, first place middle school boys 3D; Matthias Shaw, first place middle school boys bullseye; and Odalys Santana, first place elementary girls bullseye. The following students shot their best score ever: 3D shooters, Axel Santana, Michael Varner, Matthias Shaw, Brooklyn Hazell and Amelia Owens; and bullseye shooters, Odalys Santana, Gabe Spencer, Emma Barnett, McKenna White, Ellias Smith, Orrin Fuller, Oakley Gatton, Xitlally Santana, Samuel Byrd, Stephen House, Jackson Gilley, Maleah Moore, Vanslee Nading, Allison Becker, Adelynn Queen and Kenzie Rion.
