ST. PAUL — Sara Lee Caswell, 67, of St. Paul died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at her residence in St. Paul.
Sara was born Nov. 11, 1956, in St. Paul, a daughter of Carlye and Cordy (Thompson) Ward. She grew up and attended schools in St. Paul and graduated from St. Paul High School in 1975.
Sara married Bill Caswell on Feb. 21, 1981, in Neodesha. Bill preceded her in death on Aug. 14, 2011.
Sara worked for the Airosol Co. in Neodesha for 25 years and at Mac’s in St. Paul for six years.
She enjoyed her family, the Dallas Cowboys, playing bingo and computer games, going to the casinos and watching wrestling and westerns.
Survivors include her sons, Jeremy Caswell of St. Paul, Rick Caswell of Galesburg and Shannon Caswell and his wife, Debra, of Galesburg; her daughters, Sabrina Bonine and her husband, Cliff, of Galesburg and Billie Carter and her husband, Mark Jr., of Chetopa; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
In addition to her husband, Sara was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Carter III; three brothers; and six sisters.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home in St. Paul. The family will have a celebration oflife service at a later date and burial will be in Hope Cemetery at St. Paul.
