The Parsons chess team participated in the Coffeyville Community Elementary chess tournament last weekend. Due other commitments, the team only had three students participate, but all three came away as medalists. In the K-12 division, Kyle Chen came away with seventh place with 4 wins. Raymond Oler earned 19th place with 3 wins. There were 34 participants in the K-12 Division. In the K-8 division, with 45 participants, Gavin Bocook earned 10th place with 4 wins.
