Nina Marie Morris, 43, of Parsons died in the emergency room of Labette Health at 10:39 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2025.
She was born May 13, 1981, in Independence to Chris E. and Bonnie S. (Winn) Davis. She grew up in Altamont and graduated from Labette County High School in 1999. She attended Labette Community College.
Nina was a member of Christ Church of Labette County at Altamont. She enjoyed working with various kinds of crafts. She had worked as a custodian at the Labette County High School and as a Labette County 911 dispatcher.
On Aug. 16, 2008, she married Andre Jay Morris at Parsons Foursquare Church. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include her stepdaughter, Samantha Morris of Parsons; her mother, Bonnie Davis and her brother, Shawn Davis (Michelle Nix), all of Altamont; nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and her beloved dog, Echo.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at the Carson- Wall Funeral Home with Blade Dilldine officiating. Burial will follow at the Hatch Cemetery near Uniontown.
