Earning a signature win at home, the Parsons Vikings boys came back to beat the Pittsburg Purple Dragons, 55-53, on Friday night.
Parsons shot 40.5% from the floor while limiting Pittsburg to 28.3%.
Dontae Sawyer had another ticker-tape night, pouring in 32 points on 10-of-18 shooting and a 10-of-12 night from the foul line — Sawyer is a combined 22-of-24 from the charity stripe in his last two games.
The win improved Parsons’ record to 11-6 overall.
