U.S. 75 rail crossing work delayed at Neodesha

The starting date of the railroad crossing work on U.S. 75 (West Main Street) at Neodesha has been delayed until Monday, Feb. 24.

The Union Pacific Railroad will install a new crossing and also rebuild the existing U.P. and South Kansas and Oklahoma (SKOL) crossings.

U.S. 75 will be closed to traffic at the work zone for four to six weeks, weather permitting. Traffic will follow a signed state detour along K-47 and U.S. 400.

KDOT urges motorists to stay alert and follow posted signs in all work zones. For current road conditions, visit kandrive. gov or call 5-1-1.
