Thanks for snow removal
To the Sun:
On Feb. 18, I was driving down Main Street before noon and the temperature is 7 degrees with a wind chill of -14. I am so thankful for our dedicated city workers who were clearing snow and fighting blizzard conditions to ensure we were able to get around town.
I observed them using snow plows, a blade on a small mower and even clearing walks with snow shovels. The next time we decide to criticize our dedicated team of workers, please step back for a moment and give them some grace remembering how we were staying inside keeping warm while they braved the weather for our safety clearing our streets and sidewalks.
Thank you to each and every worker for all you do for our community. — ROD LANDRUM, Parsons
